January 2019 Quarterly Meeting

Our next scheduled quarterly MESPA meeting will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Tampa General Hospital.

Who: Kristina Zannis, M.A., BCBA, SLPA of Independent Living Inc.

What: “Bridging the Gap between Speech-Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis

Where: Tampa General Hospital, Rehab Center, Room #201: Curtis Hixon Room

When: Sunday, January 13, 2019; 6:00-8:00 pm 

Why: For the purpose of continuing education in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and networking with professionals in the Tampa Bay Area.

3) Sunday, October 13th: Medical Errors for the SLP by Michelle Harvey M.S., CCC-SLP of Tampa General Hospital

4) Sunday, January 12, 2020: Technology with Aphasia Patients by Jennifer Ferreira M.S., CCC-SLP of All Children’s Hospital and Voices of Hope

As always, MESPA meetings are open to speech-language pathologists, as well as students in the field of speech-language pathology, and quarterly meetings are FREE for 2.0 hours (Florida state SLP CE Hours).

About Tampa Bay Medical Speech Pathology Association

MESPA is a local speech pathology organization in Tampa, Florida that started in 2000 to draw speech pathologists together to meet for continuing education. Currently, MESPA meets at Tampa General Hospital on a quarterly basis on the second Sunday evening of the month in January, April, July, and October from 6:00-8:00 pm.
