Quarterly Meeting Change and Updated MESPA Meetings

We need to change the date of our Medical Errors course from Sunday, July 11th to Sunday, September 12th. We apologize for any inconvenience. Below is a list of upcoming MESPA scheduled meetings.


“Medical Errors for the SLP,” Presented by Michelle Harvey, M.S., CCC-SLP of Tampa General Hospital, Sunday, September 12, 2021, 6-8 pm via Microsoft Teams.


“EBP in Principles of Neuroplasticity for AAC Device Use and An SLP’s Guide to Training Communication Partners in AAC Use,” available for .1 ASHA CEU each hour. Presented by Jennifer Ackett, MS, CCC-SLP, Lingraphica Clinical In-Service Provider. SLPs may receive credit for one or both courses if they attend the full hour and complete the sign in and assessment for each. Sunday, October 10, 2021, 6-8 pm via Microsoft Teams.

“Topic: TBA”-Jaimie Payne Anderson MS, CCC-SLP BC-ANCDS, January 9, 2022, 6-8 pm via Microsoft Teams.

As always, MESPA meetings are open to speech-language pathologists, as well as students in the field of speech-language pathology, and quarterly meetings are FREE for 2.0 hours (Florida state license SLP CE Hours).

About Tampa Bay Medical Speech Pathology Association

MESPA is a local speech pathology organization in Tampa, Florida that started in 2000 to draw speech pathologists together to meet for continuing education. Currently, MESPA meets at Tampa General Hospital on a quarterly basis on the second Sunday evening of the month in January, April, July, and October from 6:00-8:00 pm.
