**Given that the pandemic is the reason for our new virtual platform and has greatly impacted our field across settings and populations, we’d like to take the time to share and learn from each other’s experiences. If you’re interested in speaking for 15-30 minutes on how your practice has been impacted by COVID-19, please email: MESPA2013@gmail.com with your name, credentials, potential focus of presentation and brief description. Please reply by December 1, 2022. We will assemble 4-6 speakers across settings/populations to educate us on the new standard of practice during/post pandemic. **
Please note we will be having this 2 hour topic discussion in lieu of a symposium in April, 2023 due to continued effects with COVID-19 protocols.
Calling potential MESPA Speakers!
We are always looking for speakers to present for our quarterly meetings. If you would like to present for 2 hours on a topic relevant to medical speech pathology, please email us at MESPA2013@gmail.com with your name, credentials, potential presentation title, and brief description.
MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
As we continue to strive to recognize our colleagues for their accomplishments and contributions to the community and learn from each other, we would like to highlight members via social media (Instagram: tpaMESPA and Facebook: Tampa Bay Medical Speech Pathology Association page). This will allow us to get to know each other better and refer our patients amongst ourselves as appropriate. Please provide your name, credentials, current place of employment, population you work with, areas of specialization, certifications, professional picture, and brief bio and email us at MESPA2013@gmail.com.
AS ALWAYS:
If you have any topics you would like presented, please email the MESPA team at: MESPA2013@gmail.com
If you have any questions or concerns regarding MESPA, or if anyone would like to be added to the MESPA email list, please email the MESPA team at: MESPA2013@gmail.com
As always, MESPA meetings are open to speech-language pathologists, as well as students in the field of speech-language pathology, and quarterly meetings are FREE for 2.0 hours (Florida state license SLP CE Hours). Also note we have discontinued our July/Summer quarterly meeting due to many members traveling and being committed over the summer months.
