The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Florida is seeking qualified applicants for the following position:
Position: Two openings for Instructor, Level I, Speech-Language PathologyDepartment of Communication Sciences and Disorders University of South Florida
Appointment: August 2016. Full-time, 12-month non-tenure track faculty appointment, contingent upon funding and Level II background check.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, eligibility for Florida State Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology, and three years of professional experience post clinical fellowship. Expert clinical experience in any area of Speech Language Pathology.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in supervision of graduate students in clinical or university settings. Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Experience in documentation and assessment of student performance (ASHA Knowledge and Skills Assessment); Demonstrated experience in clinical research and implementation of evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision to graduate student clinicians enrolled in the SLP practicum involving the diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders; mentor Master’s students; and engage in service to the department, college, university, community and profession.
Salary: Negotiable, depending upon qualifications.
